Ruff on the Road

Lesson 9

Continuing our journey through Guatemala, Honduras, and Belize, the pack leaves the highlands of central Honduras and travels to the Caribbean coast just in time for a rain storm.

The next day we cross the border into Guatemala and – drenched down to the undercoat – take shelter at a lodge along Río Dulce.

From there it's north to the island village of Flores and then to the Mayan ruins beside Laguna Yaxhá. There we camp at a jungle lodge and discover the terrible Crocodile that we've heard so much about.
