It's Motorcycle Diaries + A Dog's Purpose.
German Shepherd Moxie narrates her adventure travels and the
people, places, and lessons she learns along the way.
Bad luck stories are like the pufferfish: they have many spines in them so that, when you bite down on them, they stick in your mouth and stop you from doing what you want to. Moxie knows not to bite down on pufferfish because she doesn’t want anything to hold her back but, as she learns during the third leg of their Guatemala-Honduras-Belize trip, you should always keep an eye out for crocodiles.
The pack leaves the lush highlands of central Honduras and travels to the Caribbean coast just in time to be greeted by a rainstorm. After rainy night of camping and a soggy ride across the border in Guatemala, the pack takes shelter to dry out their clothes and undercoat at a lodge along Río Dulce.
From there they ride north to the island village of Flores and then to the Mayan ruins beside Laguna Yaxhá. They set up camp at a jungle lodge and discover the terrible Crocodile who lurks in the shallows beside wooden dock.
